Release of the soundtrack CD of HOUSE OF TOLERANCE by Bertrand Bonello

Bande Originale du Film L’APOLLONIDE

The soundtrack CD of the film L’APOLLONIDE (HOUSE OF TOLERANCE) (in Official Competition at Cannes Film Festival this year and coming soon in a theater near you in more than 30 countries) will be available in France as of September 15 in a collector’s set. It will include a vintage digipack with a 12-page booklet. This will be a collector’s edition limited to 2,000 copies worldwide.

The soundtrack includes the cult and rare classic “Bad Girl” by Lee Moses (see teaser below) but also “The Right To Love You” by The Mighty Cannibal ar a new version of “Plaisir d’amour” by Bertrand Bonello and Eloïse Decazes, not to mention Mozart, Puccini and additional electronic scores by Bertrand Bonello.

Bertrand Bonello

Bertrand Bonello

Bertrand Bonello, born in 1968, lives between Paris and Montréal. He came to cinema via music. His first feature film, Something Organic (1998), was presented at the Berlin Festival (Panorama). The Pornographer (2001), his second feature along with Jean-Pierre Léaud, was selected for International Critics’ Week at Cannes and won the FIPRESCI prize. Bertrand Bonello imposes his singular voice and world with Tiresia (2003), in Competition at the Festival de Cannes. In 2005 he returns to Cannes with a short film, Cindy, the Doll is Mine. He continues making music and, in 2007, releases My New Picture: an album to accompany a film presented at the Locarno Festival. In 2008, On War, a feature starring Mathieu Amalric, Asia Argento and Guillaume Depardieu was selected for the Directors’ Fortnight.
